When I went out to check on the babies, both babies were on their mama's belly nursing. Elizabeth and Michelle are taking such good care of their babies. Although it is unfortunate these babies were born behind bars, at least the mother-baby bond will not be broken. You see, both these mothers were in a breeding situation and had their babies stolen from them to be sold into slavery. Today, these babies are safe with their mothers in their sanctuary home.
It's always great to wake up and see these mothers happy with their babies. No one deserves to have their children taken from them.
ReplyDeleteAs a sanctuary, Jungle Friends has a no breeding policy. So, it was quite a surprise to find expectant mothers turning up! The situation has been remedied.
