Group Volunteer Day at Jungle Friends!

Today, fifteen dedicated University of Florida students came to volunteer for a
day full of special projects led by our interns, apprentices and regular volunteers. Some helped clean 2 of our largest outdoor habitats, which house some of the Motley Crue (a group of monkeys that were rescued back in October 2010), some worked on preparing platforms that will be put in our newest habitat, some learned how to make monkey feeders.
Everyone played an important part in the day, and we ended with a tour around the sanctuary to show our appreciation for their hard work.

Enjoy the pictures of our amazing interns and volunteers!

Below is a clip from the tour I gave to the volunteers.

Thanks to our devoted volunteers, we got a lot accomplished and we hope they
come back soon!

Hey it's Richa from Alpha Phi Omega. Thanks so much for having our group volunteer! You all are really making a difference for these animals, and I'm glad we got to help you around the sanctuary. We had a great time and promise to be back sometime soon! :D
